METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DEFEATING GROUP OBJECTS OF THE ENEMY BY HIGH-PRECISION WEAPONS SYSTEMS OF MISSILE TROOPS AND ARTILLERY

Abstract

The paper presents a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of defeating grouped enemy targets using precision weapons systems of missile forces and artillery. This methodology is aimed at improving the accuracy of predicting the results of the combat use of precision weapons against various types of targets operating in groups. The main stages of the assessment are highlighted, including the analysis of target characteristics (size, number, mobility), ballistic and technical characteristics of precision weapons, as well as probable models of combat scenarios. The impact of external factors, such as weather conditions and terrain, on the accuracy of the hit is also considered. The methodology is based on a step-by-step modeling of the process of defeating group objects using mathematical models and algorithms that allow taking into account the complex impact of combat factors. The proposed methodology can be used to plan combat operations involving the use of high-precision weapons in modern combat conditions and contributes to the operational and tactical effectiveness of missile forces and artillery.
