Abstract

In order to ensure the exchange of information for the prompt execution of strategic tasks and effective interaction between military administration bodies, units and individual servicemen, radio communication systems are used. Information with the help of radio communication systems can be transmitted using fixed frequencies or using the method of pseudo-random adjustment of the operating frequency.

The improvement of military management systems is impossible without increasing the indicators of communication (radio) systems, increasing their capacity in terms of bandwidth and timeliness. At the same time, modern armed conflict cannot be imagined without the use of radio-electronic warfare as the main means of combating the communication and control system. The above-mentioned factors determine the relevance of consideration of data transfer processes and the functioning of the radio communication system in the conditions of the functioning of radio-electronic warfare and radio-electronic suppression.

In the conditions of the enemy’s use of radio electronic suppression means or a high level of unintentional interference, the optimal means of protection against suppression of the communication channel is the use of the method of pseudo-random adjustment of the operating frequency.

The way to increase immunity in communication systems is to use the mode of pseudo-random adjustment of the working frequency of the signal, which, along with other methods of the physical level, has gained the widest distribution in modern military and special purpose radio communication systems.

The article reflects the assessment of the level of immunity of military and special purpose radio communication systems, provided that the method of pseudo-random adjustment of the operating frequency is used.

Keywords: noise protection, radio communication systems, frequency-hopping spread spectrum, frequency-hopping sequence.
